I had three shopping lists going and was so excited to pick up all of the things that I needed...and then, I lost them.
As first I was a tab bit annoyed, but then I realized, it was actually a blessing and I ended up saving money. If I couldn't remember all the things I "needed," did I really need them? I went through my home and recreated the list of things I was out of and needed and I guarantee you the list was much smaller than the original. It actually ended up being a sigh of relief since I had a medical bill come in I had to pay and my "needs" weren't as high as I thought they were. I was able to pay the bill on time.
... is the intentional promotion of the things we most value and the removal of everything that distracts us from it. It is about re-evaluating our pursuits, our habits, and our motivations.
